Aiden's Birthday Sledding

Today for Aiden's birthday he wanted to go sledding. Luckily we had a few huge storms last week so there was plenty of snow in town.

Aiden turned 7 today and is in first grade. Here are a few things I asked him:

What is your favorite color? blue
What is your favorite food? junk food (ice cream, cupcakes, cookies)
What do you want to be when you grow up? I don't know, I'll be extinct
What do you do for fun at home? Beat up my big brother
Who's your best friend? Dalton (from school)
What was your favorite part about today? sledding
What is your favorite thing about you? everything
What is your favorite song? Ruby

We love Aiden's sense of humor and energy for life. His teacher said is does very well in school, (although he takes after his dad and talks too much), and that he is very nice to others. He is a daddy's boy and really looks up to his brother. We love having him in our family.

Children's parade

This is our favorite parade of the year--The Children's Festival parade. I have some great pictures of the back of my kids' heads. :)

Always a favorite

These were new this year

Basketball

Both the boys started basketball recently. Aiden's is more of a camp and Chase plays games every Saturday. It is so fun to watch them. Aubrie brought her pom pom's and was cheering for Chase at his game.

Letter to Santa

December 3, 2008

Dear Santa Claus,

Won’t you give me presents tonight? Santa, will you bring me some toys? I want dolls and unicorns, and everything you have for girls. Thank you Santa Claus. Won’t you guide my sleigh tonight? Bye Santa Claus and elves and reindeers too. Reindeer, you are the best.

Dear Elves,
You have to help Santa or else he won’t have any elves.

Love, Aubrie (age 4)

Thanksgiving 2008-Rexburg

After Oregon, we were able to drive to Rexburg, Idaho to see Grandma and Grandpa Shaw and Aaron's brothers and sisters. I only took pictures on Sunday so I didn't get everyone, but here are a few pictures from the weekend. It's always fun to play games at their house and it was great to see everyone.

Thanksgiving 2008-Vale

For Thanksgiving vacation this year we headed up to Vale, Oregon and Rexburg, Idaho to see family. Our first stop was Vale where we had Thanksgiving dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Shelton and Trevor and Celeste's family. Celeste's dad was able to come too. We were only able to stay 2 days, but had a lot of fun.
