Children's Museum Field Trip

Went to the Children's Museum at the Gateway with a homeschool group.  Visited a couple of stores at the Gateway Mall, went out to eat, and visited the new Trader Joes in SL.

Aubrie had to have a "Cake Boss" cake, one of her favorite shows.  Notice the frosting on the top of the candles, Aaron accidently put them all in upside down.  Later, he accidently sprayed super glue in his mouth and down his throat, and later still fell off his chair at the Nickel Arcade.  Not his best day.

Jazz

Aaron was given some Jazz tickets for work so he took Aubrie to her first game against the Trailblazers.  She loved it, even though she didn't want to go in the first place.  She is begging to go again.  Jazz won 98-93.

 

San Diego

This past week we had a great time in San Diego.  We drove down Sunday and part of Monday, and came home the next Saturday.

We toured 7 old ships and a sub at the Maritime Museum.  This is Captain Barbosa's ship in Pirates  of the Carribean 4.

Drove through the strip, always an adventure. . .

 On the way home, we stopped at Snow Canyon in St. George. This is one of the slot canyons.  Can you spot the boys?
