Salt Lake and Logan

Chase and Aiden at the BSU/Utah State game

This past weekend was a lot of fun. We drove to Salt Lake Wednesday and spent a day at the aquarium. The kids' favorite part was seeing the octopus and petting the sting rays.

We then headed to Logan to see Michael and Jan. Sorry guys, this is the most current picture I have. :) I didn't get a chance to take my camera out. All the boys went to the Boise State/Utah State game (BSU killed) and froze but had a blast. The next day we went roller skating and played lazer tag. I was swinging the boys around the corners and Chase went rolling on the ground and broke his other arm! Not his best week! :) Overall though, it was a great weekend. Thanks Michael and Jan!

Chase's Broken Arm

Chase and Aiden were running home from a friend's house when Aiden tripped on a rock. He was behind Chase and pushed him as they were running. Chase fell forward and caught himself with his hands on the sidewalk. He ran into the house telling me his arm was broken.

Because Chase has been known to be a little melodramatic about injuries, we didn't believe him for two days. After noticing a bump on his radius, we decided to take him in. The good news is it's on his left arm. The bad news is that he's left-handed.

Aubrie's 5!

Aubrie turned five yesterday! Today we had her birthday party that she has been asking about all year!

Of course it was a princess party!

Halloween

We were lucky enough to have Grandma and Grandpa Shelton visit us this year on their way to Arizona (they are living there for the next two months.) The kids rode the trick-or-treat express (our neighbor's hay ride) and ate way too much candy. Aiden ate so much he threw up that night. After years of telling him too much candy will make you sick, I think he believes us now. :)

HIking

We went up to the mountains by Kararraville (just south of Cedar) and went hiking today. We found this old mining cable stand that was built around 1904 (according to the date on the bolts). Chase wasn't too excited about standing on a creaky structure more than 100 years old, but he was a good sport for the sake of a cool picture.

Cedar Mountain

Today we drove up Cedar Mountain to see the fall colors. Most of the aspens had lost their leaves already, but we saw some other beautiful trees and about 10 deer.

Halloween House

Today we made a gingerbread Haunted House. The first picture is the picture on the box and the second picture is the one we made.

I think we should get our money back. I don't think they gave us the same ingredients. ha ha
