We left the Saturday tournament after the boys' events, but we didn't realize that Chase had won the Grand Champion Novice 9-14 year old award. They add up all your firsts, seconds, and thirds, and whoever has the most points wins. His karate teacher brought it to him at class today. Good job Chase!
